Delivery

We ship domestic and international.

When you place an order with us we’ll send you a confirmation email straight away, so please check that emails from admin@kaarakin.com won’t get trapped in your spam filter! Please note all packages are prepared by Kaarakin volunteers only. We are taking all precautions as advised by local authorities and the government regarding Covid-19.

Orders are sent via Australia Post and we always try our very best to dispatch your order within 3 business days.

Shipping Costs

The delivery costs for all Australian and international orders are based on the weight of your order they will be calculated at checkout. We use a special plugin which looks for the corresponding shipping price from the Australia Post API. Items can be posted via standard post or Express (via Australia Post). Parcels are tracked and come in compostable satchels purchased from an Australian business.

Pricing

All pricing is in Australian Dollars (AUD). Kaarakin reserves the right to change pricing at our discretion and without notice. All profits go back to our rescue and conservation centre. We are extremely grateful for your support.

Refund & Returns Policy

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase the first thing to do is email us straight away so that we can resolve any problems.

Please also note that the size of the items is indicated first in the product description. The additional tab information indicates the information require for our shipping plugin to find the right price and the right satchel/ box size.

In the event that the item you ordered doesn’t meet your expectations and you wish to exchange it for an alternate size or item, we ask that you include a postage paid/ envelope/ satchel when returning your item.

While we are always happy to replace damaged or defective goods please note that (like most places) we don’t exchange goods because you’ve changed you mind. If there are any problem, we will always try to replace the goods with equivalent items, however from time to time stock issues may prohibit this, if this is the case we will provide a refund of your purchase price or alternative item instead.

This refund policy does not apply to goods which have been worn, used or damaged after delivery, or if any attempt has been made to alter the product or if they have been dropped, kicked, eaten by a much-loved pet etc – basically all products must be returned in their original condition. All postage and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer. We recommend that you return the product via Registered post and that you pre-pay all postage. You assume any risk of lost, theft or damaged goods during transit & therefore advise you take out shipment registration of insurance with your postal carrier. Kaarakin will not be responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit if you choose not to insure.
