Happy Birthday Kaarakin!

On Sunday 25 November 2018, past and present staff and volunteers gathered at the Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre in Martin to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Centre moving to the site.  Formerly the home of a wildlife park, our friends and supporters have worked hard to transform the site into a facility dedicated to the rehabilitation and conservation of our wildlife friends.

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we have put together a limited edition of the Kaarakin Post, a newspaper including various contributions from volunteers and guest writers about different Kaarakin topics. So if you have ever wanted to learn more about Kaarakin’s beginnings, our black cockatoos, our dingoes and what it is like to volunteer at Kaarakin, this newspaper is a must read! Best of all, it is free to download! You are welcome to mak a donation to support our conservation and rehabilitation efforts.

The number of articles in the newspaper is too extensive to describe here, so we invite you to download the newspaper, read it online or print it if you wish (size A3 recommended).
