Facebook fundraisers for Kaarakin

If you are on Facebook, you can organise a fundraiser for a cause you would like to support or even a fundraiser for your birthday. If you are looking to have a Facebook birthday fundraiser, Facebook will offer you the opportunity to do so in the last 2 weeks before your birthday.

Our not-for-profit name for Facebook Fundraisers is: SAVE THE BLACK COCKATOO FUND
You will also see that we are based in Martin, Western Australia.

Kaarakin adoption certificates are available online

You can virtually adopt one of our black cockatoos or dingoes for $30. All funds go towards the care of the black cockatoos at our centre and help keeping our rescue service on the road. We have a wide range of black cockatoos or dingoes you can adopt. Besides, we regularly refresh the photos and have limited editions that we advertise on social media and our quarterly newsletter! Be sure to collect them all!

Kaarakin private tours and encounters

We are not open to the public, but it doesn’t mean that the doors are always shut! Due to the nature of our conservation centre, we are not able to be open to the public on a daily basis.

However, you can book a private tour for a black cockatoo and/or dingo encounter with us! Bookings are essential as all our tours are run by trained volunteer tour guides. Booking for a tour or an encounter is very simple, and is a wonderfully personal experience.

Kaarakin tour weekends – twice a year

Twice a year, around May and October, we organise our open tour weekends. You will enjoy a one-hour guided tour through our conservation and rehabilitation centre with a trained volunteer guide. Tours are run at specific times between 8 am and 11 am. Bookings are essential. Head over to book or get more info on our tour days.

Donate to Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre

Your kind donation can be used in many ways:

  • Keep our rescue service on the road
  • Provide medical supplies for our clinic
  • Supply food for the black cockatoos in our care
  • Help with various projects

And ultimately, you will feel rewarded that you have helped us save black cockatoos threatened with extinction!

I'm excited to announce that my prints are now available to purchase online! I have decided to team up with the folks…
