Tour Weekend – Saturday 4th Sep 10:00am

This is a standard ticket for Kaarakin’s Tour Weekend for Saturday 4th September 10:00am-11:15am.

Kaarakin will once again be having a tour weekend for the second and likely last time this year. Please join us for a guided tour around our 41 acre bushland site where you will learn all about our world leading black cockatoo rehabilitation program. You will also get to see our resident kangaroos, emus and dingoes, as well as some interactive time with some of our cheeky resident black cockatoos.

There will also be a sausage sizzle available for purchase and several stalls to browse.

There will be several tours throughout the day, this spot is for the tour leaving at 10:00am and returning at 11:15am. While the tour may take ~1.25 hours, you are welcome to stay and browse our stalls, have a cup of tea and enjoy the view from our former restaurant in the hills until 1:30pm.

All money raised goes towards the ongoing care of our resident animals as well as the rehabilitation and release of our three endemic black cockatoo species.

Please not children under 6 are not permitted inside the interactive aviary, but are welcome on the tour.
