BIRD BONANZA

Its Bird Bonanza time! Yes that’s right our infamous Bird Bonanza event is back for Summer!

Join us on Sunday 9th April for up close wildlife encounters – including friendly black cockatoo and dingo interactions. We’ll take you on a guided bushwalking bird tour, so bring your binoculars (or we have a limited few you can borrow). Plus share in morning tea.

It’s an early start to avoid the heat. Open from 7:15am for check in, ready for the main event from 7:30am to 10:30am.

Bookings are essential. Limited tickets are available and can go quickly. Tickets are $35 per person (ages 6 + event only). After purchasing your tickets, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Make sure you entered your correct email address and check your spam folder too. (We’ll contact you beforehand if your tour needs to be rescheduled for bad weather, COVID restrictions or any other reason). For any enquires, please contact us.

Please note that this event involves a lot of walking. Wear suitable clothes, so closed shoes, a sleeved top (short or long), and a hat for sun protection. Avoid jewellery – you don’t want to lose it during the bushwalk or have birds steal it (because they like shiny pretty things too). Much the same with buttons. And bring your topped up water bottle.

Kaarakin merchandise will be available too, so you can get an extra momento of your visit. Cash can be helpful as EFTPOS facilities can sometimes be unresponsive (just like mobile phone reception here).
