Happy birthday Kaarakin! Today is a special day for us. Can you believe that Kaarakin was established 10 years ago? Since the first black cockatoos were rescued, taken care of and released?
Certainly, the journey has not been easy and it is only thanks to our volunteers, supporters and help from sponsors that Kaarakin is what it is nowadays – a premier black cockatoo conservation centre, which has even been visited by Dr Harry Cooper of Better Homes and Gardens Australia.
