The Fabulous Kaarakin 2024 Wall Calendar has arrived, key features include:
- The 2024 calendar features beautiful A4 photographs of Kaarakin’s resident Black Cockatoos, Dingoes., Kangaroos and Emus.
- The cover page is a memorial tribute to Carnaby’s Cockatoo ‘Terry’, a much loved resident and ambassador for Kaarakin.
- March, July and November photographs call out the change in conservation status to Critically Endangered for our Baudin’s Cockatoo (ICUN Red List, 2022) and highlight the need for urgent action to save these majestic creatures.
- Each accompanying page features a monthly calendar including special dates for the coming year and public holidays.
All photographs were generously donated by talented volunteers and wildlife photographers.

Amy is a resident Alpine dingo at Kaarakin, the sister of Alex. She is very affectionate and loves meeting visitors during our tour weekends, as well as her daily walks.

Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo Sunset Flock Enamel Pin
This beautiful polished hard enamel pin depicts a lovely little flock of White-Tailed Black Cockatoos in the WA sunset and was designed to raise funds for the conservation and rehabilitation of these wonderful native birds.
The pin is made of polished hard enamel and has a metal clutch backing.
Each pin measures approx. 3.5cm x 3.5 cm at its widest point.
Profits will support Kaarakin.

A6 Card – ‘Courtly’ Portrait of a Male Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo
These notecards feature the reproduction print of an acrylic painting of Courtly, the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, from an original hand painting by Perth artist Caroline Hazell.
The A6 sized cards come with envelopes and are blank inside for your own message.
The cards are printed in Perth, Western Australia on recycled paper stock using vegetable inks.
