Saving our Iconic Black CockatoosWe rescue wild black cockatoos in distress – having been struck by vehicles, fallen, shot, pulled from their nests, or attacked by ravens, cats, or other birds - and rehabilitate them at Kaarakin, our Perth Hills site, before releasing back into the wild.

Adopt Fluffbum
Fluffbum lives with our other friendly black cockatoos in Kaarakin’s interactive aviary. He’ll adopt you, not the other way round!

Adopt Skye
Skye is Kaarakin’s resident fashion victim – if you visit her in the interactive aviary, she will quickly restyle your buttons and jewellery with her beak!

Adopt Amy
Amy is a resident Alpine dingo at Kaarakin, the sister of Alex. She is very affectionate and loves meeting visitors during our tour weekends, as well as her daily walks.

Adopt Opal
Opal was found in 2015 as a weak fledgling in Marrickville Park, New South Wales. She came to Western Australia thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, and has quickly bonded with Kaarakin yellow-tails Abby and Alex.

A5 Jarrah-Marri Forest Blank Sketchbook
This sketchbook features native flora of the Jarrah-Marri Forest, from an original watercolour painting by West Australian Artist Bronwyn of Chicken Pants Studio.
These A5 sketchbooks are designed and printed in Perth, Western Australia on 100% recycled paper stock using non-toxic, vegetable-based inks.
Each book is bound with 100% recycled 250gsm silk paper that feels buttery and luxurious to the touch. The 40 blank pages inside are 100% recycled 135gsm uncoated paper, perfect for writing, drawing, journaling and everyday life.

Coasters are sold individually and are finished with a cork backing and measure 90mm in diameter. Coasters have a glossy finish which enhances the beautiful bright colours.

Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo Feather Vinyl Sticker
Carnaby’s Black Cockatoos are an endangered species of black cockatoo only found in South-West Western Australia. These iconic birds are instantly recognisable by the flash of creamy-white on their tails as they fly overhead, feasting on eucalyptus, hakea and banksia plants. They have cream coloured cheek patches and a cream panel across their tail feathers. The females have pale bone coloured bills, whereas males have a dark bill and a pink ring around their eye.
Professionally printed onto waterproof, UV resistant matte vinyl, they are perfect to stick onto any surface without worrying about fading or weather damage.
These stickers started as original watercolour paintings by West Australian artist Bronwyn Brims.
